CARAVANING DESIGN AWARD: OUTSTANDING DESIGN

For the fifth time now, Messe Düsseldorf recognised sector innovations that stood out for their high design standard and future-oriented concept with the “caravaning design award: innovations for new mobility”. In the camping van and caravaning industry, design is continually gaining significance. This is reflected in the increasing design quality of the exhibited products as well as the greater participation of producers in the competition, which has established itself as a benchmark and driver of innovation for the sector.

The jury, was comprised of five international experts from design and related trade journalism (Kristiina Lassus, Managing Director kristiina lassus studio, Mårten Claesson, founding member Claesson Koivisto Rune, Prof. Dr. Peter Zec, initiator of the red dot design award and Icsid-Senator, Adi Kemmer, Head of the departments „promobil“ and „CARAVANING“ of Motor Presse Stuttgart, and Ingo Wagner, Editor-in-chief „Reisemobil International“, DoldeMedien Verlag), granted awards to a total of 22 pieces. Four of these received the distinction “best practice” for highest design quality and innovative application. Moreover, the special award “best interior design” was issued for the first time for outstanding interior design.
