Mårten Claesson

Mårten Claesson was born in Lidingö, Sweden, in 1970. He began his studies at Vasa Technical College, Stockholm, in the faculty of Construction Engineering, and continued his education at the Parsons School of Design in New York, in Architecture and Product Design, and at the Konstfack, University College of Arts, Crafts and Design, Stockholm, where he received his MFA degree in 1994. Claesson is a founding member of the design and architecture cooperative Claesson Koivisto Rune, which, in Scandinavian tradition, practices design and architecture with an interdisciplinary approach. Mårten Claesson is also a solicited speaker and author in the architecture and design sector.
